Scope, Verification, and Limitations of Toorunta
1. Platform Purpose
Toorunta operates as a hyperlocal discovery platform that enables users to discover products and services offered by third-party individuals and businesses, including through map-based listings.
Toorunta does not sell, manufacture, distribute, or provide any products or services listed on the platform.
2. Role of Toorunta
Toorunta's role is limited to:
- Providing a digital platform for listing and hyperlocal discovery
- Displaying information as submitted by third-party individuals and businesses
- Enabling users to connect directly with sellers and service providers
Toorunta acts solely as a facilitator of visibility and discovery and does not participate in transactions or service delivery.
3. Verification and Acknowledgement Status
Toorunta may, at its discretion, provide acknowledgement labels based on documents submitted by listed parties.
a. Trusted Individual (Bekti)
An individual seller may be marked as a "Trusted Individual (Bekti)" if they submit a valid government-issued identification document.
b. Verified Business (Seller)
A business may be marked as a "Verified Business" if it submits:
- A valid company registration certificate, and
- A valid business PAN (or equivalent tax identification)
Important Clarification
These acknowledgements:
- Are not certifications, licenses, or endorsements
- Are based solely on document submission, not independent audits
- Do not guarantee authenticity, legality, quality, safety, pricing, or outcomes
- Do not create any warranty or assurance of performance
Verification status is provided only as a basic identity reference to help users make informed decisions.
4. No Endorsement or Guarantee
Toorunta:
- Does not endorse, recommend, or certify any individual, business, product, or service
- Does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of listings or documents
- Does not guarantee availability, pricing, delivery, or service quality
All reliance on platform information is at the user's sole discretion and risk.
5. Transactions and Payments
All communications, negotiations, payments, deliveries, bookings, returns, refunds, warranties, and disputes occur directly between the user and the third-party party.
Toorunta:
- Is not a party to any transaction
- Does not process or hold payments
- Does not mediate or resolve disputes
6. Independent Relationship
Nothing on the platform shall be construed as creating any:
- Partnership
- Joint venture
- Agency
- Employment
- Franchise or representative relationship
between Toorunta and any listed individual or business.
7. User Responsibility
Users acknowledge and agree that they are solely responsible for:
- Verifying credentials, claims, and suitability
- Reviewing pricing, warranties, and terms
- Exercising due diligence before engaging any listing
Toorunta shall not be responsible for losses, damages, or disputes arising from third-party interactions.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Toorunta shall not be liable for:
- Any direct or indirect damages
- Losses arising from reliance on verification status
- Acts, omissions, or misconduct of listed parties
Use of the platform is at the user's own risk.
9. Right to Review or Remove Verification
Toorunta reserves the right to:
- Request additional documents
- Modify, suspend, or revoke acknowledgement status
- Remove listings without notice if information is misleading or invalid
10. Acceptance of Terms
By using Toorunta, users acknowledge and agree to the scope, verification limitations, and responsibilities outlined above.
