Fraud, Illegal Activity, and Safety Policy
1. Zero Tolerance for Fraud and Illegal Activities
Toorunta maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy toward any form of fraud, scam, misrepresentation, or illegal activity.
Users are strictly prohibited from using the platform for:
- Fraudulent listings or misrepresentation
- Scams, deceptive practices, or identity misuse
- Sale or promotion of illegal, prohibited, or restricted goods or services
- Any activity that violates applicable laws or regulations
2. Enforcement and Legal Action
If Toorunta identifies or reasonably suspects fraudulent or illegal activity, Toorunta reserves the right to:
- Immediately and permanently ban the user from the platform
- Remove related listings and content without prior notice
- Share relevant information and documentation with law enforcement agencies
- Cooperate fully with investigations and legal proceedings
Such users may face legal consequences in accordance with the laws of Nepal.
3. User Responsibility and Legal Compliance
All users agree that:
- They will use Toorunta only for lawful purposes
- They will comply with all applicable local and national laws
- They will not misuse the platform in any manner that could cause harm, loss, or legal exposure to others
Toorunta shall not be responsible for any legal consequences arising from user misconduct.
4. User Safety and Deal-Meeting Guidelines
For personal safety and transparency, Toorunta strongly encourages users to:
- Meet in public places when dealing in person
- Use designated Toorunta meeting points, where available
- Avoid sharing sensitive personal or financial information prematurely
- Exercise caution and independent judgment when engaging with other users
Toorunta does not supervise or participate in offline meetings and disclaims responsibility for interactions occurring outside the platform.
5. Reporting Suspicious Activity
Users are encouraged to:
- Report suspicious, fraudulent, or illegal activity promptly
- Help maintain a safe and trustworthy community
Failure to report known misuse may also result in account review or action.
